So what to expect at this event?
🪡 Sewing: we will help you to get your clothes mended and buttons sewed back up. Feel free to also bring non-clothing items which you think can be sewed back together. We'll have a sewing machine with us too.

🚲 Bike repair: bring your bike to get it tuned, degreased, adjusted, fixed.

🔌 Electrical items: we will try to repair your electrical household items, like small appliances, or table lamps, etc. We won't be able to repair bigger products, as this is not possible logistically. Also, recent electrical household items with electronics (screens, etc.) are typically more difficult to repair than older electrical items, but feel free to bring any small electrical items along - we can at least take a quick look.

🪑 Furniture and toys: feel free to bring a small furniture item (like a broken chair or stool for example), or a broken wooden toy or other small item, we'll see what we can do to fix it.

💻 Computers: bring your computer if it has a problem and we will help you try to fix it. Our specialists will be able to examine the hardware of your machine. Also, we'll have the capacity to reinstall a brand new system on it if your computer has become unusable (even if it is in good condition).

🎸 Guitars: we'll provide basic setup of electric guitars or bass guitars, which involves action regulation (adjust height of strings to improve playability, adjust neck relief for straightness), intonation (bridge adjustment, to play more in tune) and pickup height adjustment (improve playability).

♻️ Angela Taylor from Region 6 Solid Waste management will attend this event. She will provide you with information and insights on reduction, recycling and reuse.
